JEN SILVERMAN is a New York-based writer. Her plays include Witch (Writers Theatre, The Geffen Playhouse in LA); Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties… (Woolly Mammoth, Southwark Playhouse in London, MCC); The Roommate (Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Steppenwolf directed by Phylicia Rashad, Long Wharf, South Coast Repertory, Theater Biel/Solthurn in Switzerland, Salón Teatro in Spain, etc); and The Moors (The Playwrights Realm, Yale Repertory Theatre, Seymour Center in Sydney, Red Stitch in Melbourne). Jen is a member of New Dramatists, and an affiliated artist with The Playwrights Center in Minneapolis. She’s a two-time MacDowell Colony fellow, a recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts grant, the Helen Merrill Award, an LMCC Fellowship, and the Yale Drama Series Award. She was the 2016-2017 Playwrights of New York (PoNY) Fellow at the Lark.

Jen is the author of The Island Dwellers, a collection of interlinked stories published by Random House and long-listed for the 2019 PEN America Literary Awards. Her debut novel, We Play Ourselves, was released by Random House in February 2021 and listed by O Magazine as an “LGBTQ Book That Will Change the Literary Landscape.” Jen also writes for TV and film (“Tales of the City” on Netflix, original work in development with FX, A24, Netflix, Ardman and Annapurna). His concert dance credits include works by Reggie Wilson, Stefanie Batten Bland, Kristin Sudeikis, and Ralph Lemon. Theatre credits include Jagged Little Pill (Broadway) and movement direction for As Much as I Can at The Public Theater. Yeman has also been featured in music videos by Mumford & Sons, The Jonas Brothers, and Amanda Palmer. After college she lived and worked all over the world for 10 years and ultimately came back with her husband to raise their son and daughter here. That daughter is in this show! Deb works full time as a book editor for Storey Publishing in North Adams and is also a singer, musician, painter, cat lover, nature lover, and (soon again, hopefully!) world traveler. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Trained at Escola de Dança Alice Arja and Miami City Ballet School. His professional career began at Miami City Ballet where he spent seven seasons. In 2018, Andrei made his Broadway debut in the 2018 revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, where he played the role of Fairground Boy. In 2020, Andrei joined The Forest of Arden—a company made up of multidisciplinary artists that reinvent theatre through unprecedented times such as this pandemic. SARA ESTY is an extremely proud Forest of Arden company member, and is thrilled to be having her first WTF experience! Following a ten year career with the Miami City Ballet, Sara moved to NYC to make her Broadway debut in Christopher Wheeldon’s An American in Paris. Following its Broadway run, she went on to play Lise Dassin in the first national tour. Other theatre credits include Brigadoon (Jean, NYCC Encores), A Chorus Line (Maggie - NYCC Encores, Cassie - Cape Playhouse), and Marie Dancing Still (Fifth Avenue Theater Seattle). Sara is the recipient of a Princess Grace Fellowship award for excellence in dance. She can be seen in the upcoming remake of West Side Story (directed by Steven Spielberg). He most recently held the position of Production Coordinator at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills for 6 seasons. Throughout his career he has strived to achieve the goals of a production by coordinating between various departments to discover simple, creative solutions for complex technical challenges. ERIKO JIMBO is a Tokyo born NYC based performing artist. She is an experienced performer ranging in various styles such as ballet, hip hop, martial arts, aerial arts, and acting. Professionally, she has toured globally, appeared on national and international tv shows, featured in several music videos, films, interviews, and also worked extensively with the world-renowned Pilobolus Dance Theater as a primary company member for 6 years. Since then she has continued to work with Pilobolus, while performing with several other companies/productions such as Ephrat Asherie Dance, Mawu, Fuerza Bruta "Wayra", "Seeing You" NYC, and was also an original cast member and dance captain of Fuerza Bruta "WA!!" in Tokyo.  She recently joined Virgin Voyages as a Show Captain/Performer, working with Gypsy Snider, Sam Pinkleton, and Ani Taj. She is wildly excited to reunite with friends for this new show in Williamstown! He is a rising Junior at The Juilliard School, and has performed works by people such as Ohad Naharin, Sonya Tayeh, Paul Taylor, Marcus Jarrell Willis, and many more. In 2013, he performed at the Broadway Beacon Awards, and performed with the Boys & Girls Choir of Harlem at events such as Superbowl XLVIII’s Superbowl Boulevard. BARBARA MAHONY moved to the Berkshires with her husband in 1997 after retiring from professional careers on Long Island, New York. They bought a Bed & Breakfast in Lee, MA that they ran for 11 years. Following her husband’s passing in 2009, she moved to Pittsfield, MA. Barbara has been involved in Racial Task Force of Multicultural Bridge since 2010, Immigrant Justice Work of Berkshire Interfaith Organizing, Literacy Volunteers of Berkshire County, and Lee Congregational United Church of Christ. Barbara has acted in all COMMUNITY WORKS productions since the program’s inception in 2016. “It has been a joy to be once again with cast members who were in prior COMMUNITY WORKS plays. What draws me back each year has been the opportunity to work with the talented artists who participate in the Williamstown Theatre Festival each summer.”

TESS MCHUGH grew up in Williamstown and moved back home in 2018 after six years in New York. Tess works in Development at the Clark Art Institute, and spends much of her time in local community theatre, swimming at Margaret Lindley, star/moon-gazing, or tying for third place at Log trivia. She is a proud Williams College alumna, and once performed at Paris Fashion Week. She is the loving cat mom to Winslow Homer and Salvador Dali, who hope to have their own joint exhibition at the Clark one day. This is her third summer at WTF; she worked in the box office in 2012 and performed in the COMMUNITY WORKS production of Orpheus in the Berkshires in 2016. She is over the moon to be in this production with her mom!

ISABEL RODRIGUEZ is a director from San Diego. Recent productions/workshops include: Christina by Alexis Scheer (assisted Danya Taymor, The Kennedy Center), Radial Gradient by Jasmine Sharma (Twenty by Twenty Fringe), The Party Clown by Olivia Carter (Garage Theatre Ensemble), Dust to Dust by Matthew Katterhagen (Garage Theatre Ensemble). Isabel is the recipient of Williamstown’s Bill Foeller Directing Fellowship and The Kennedy Center’s SDC Directing Fellowship. EDWARD MICHAEL ROSE is a cinematographer based in San Francisco. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, EM showed an aptitude for photography, videography, and storytelling at an early age. He studied at Loyola University Chicago and graduated from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco, majored in cinematography and studied under Kenn Ferro (steadycam operator “40 Days and 40 Nights” (2002) and "Bottle Shock" (2008)).

In his work, EM focuses on documentaries, music videos, commercial branding videos, as well as personal and professional video profiles.  He has created hundreds of videos working with Rose Rose Productions, The Method Makers, Campari, Bloom Studios, ITS THEM Brand Consulting. EM has done video projects in the San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, New York, and Rome.

His films were featured at the San Francisco 24-hour Film Festival, the San Francisco Black Film Festival, and the LA Underground Film Festival.

Regardless of the type of project, his goal as cinematographer is to create visuals that will not only tell the story, but that will affect the viewer and make the world a more beautiful place.

JUSTIN SCRIBNER is the Producing Director of The Forest of Arden. He is a stage manager, producer, playwright, poet, author, and self-care advocate. Justin has nineteen years of experience stage managing plays and musicals on and off Broadway and around the country and was most recently the Production Stage Manager of the Tony-winning Broadway revival of Once On This Island and the Associate Director of its National Tour. Other Broadway stage managing credits include The Crucible, Rock of Ages, God of Carnage, The American Plan, A Chorus Line, RENT, The Times They Are A-Changin’, Lennon, Pacific Overtures, Jumpers, Little Shop of Horrors, and Nine. Justin received his B.F.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University and currently teaches Advanced Methodologies as an Adjunct Assistant Professor for Columbia University's M.F.A. Stage Management Program. His first collection of poetry and short stories, every grain of sand, was published in 2020.

JESSICA NATALIE SMITH is an actor, director, and choreographer, in her final year at the Brown/Trinity MFA Acting program.
